Moved!

Well kinda. I'm now in Utah (after surviving on about 10 hours of sleep all together in about 48--or more-- hours, packing in between the times I had sleep, and driving the rest of the time.) But my boxes are still all full, and only about half of them are actually inside the house.

I'm very thankful for friends. If I didn't have the help of my friend David and his fiancee, I honestly don't think we would have gotten out of the apartment when we did. That's not to say that they were the only ones helping, that's just saying that they were the ones that helped the most and were the most dedicated in helping. David was there (and for some of the time his Fiancee) both days we were doing the big moving things. The first day, he was there by noon helping me clean and continue to put things INTO the boxes to be moved before the actual moving things into the respective moving spots. His Fiancee (And her sister) came later and helped organize boxes so they were less crazy. The next day, when things weren't completely done, they came again and continued to help, and help and help. Both days David worked about 9 hours basically straight (which meant I worked about 12 hours straight... maybe a break or two for lunch or something like that) and the only complaint I heard from him was, "I'm gonna miss you."

Did I mention that he kept me the sanest? Or should I say kept me insane? Every time it looked like I was about to crack, I'd either get a hug (well for those of you who know me well, you know I don't usually give light hugs, so I got the near bone-crushing hugs in return from him, which are really the good stress relievers for me) or he'd crack a joke or something to keep me from strangling either boxes(or the things in the boxes that wouldn't fit properly) or people.

And I would write more, but my brain is still dead, and there are still boxes to save from the heat outside... did I mention it's hot out? It's very not cool. But I will survive! I'll just be slightly melted.

Alergic to Sleep Deprevation?

Well, that's what I call it. It seems that whenever I get less sleep than my body wants (not so much now-days, but if it's consistent enough...), inevitably I get sick. Or at least a sore throat, which is what is plaguing me right now. It's small and going away, but still. Rather annoying if I do say so. Thankfully it never lasts long.

Catching Up... Which is nothing like Ketchup.

Life's been kind of interesting, and I've been updating other places much more frequently than my blog, but... I've realized that I really like reading how my siblings and other people, and if I like reading about their life, why not write about mine, eh?
Frankly, I'm going to blame it on not having good, consistent internet, but then again, I make time to email my friends and so on, so why not make time to write a little bit about myself? Heh, for peats sake, I could even just post some of the letters(in part) that I write to my old roommate who is currently on her mission right now, and that'd basically sum up what I'm thinking and feeling at the time, they're certainly long enough (last one was about 4 pages, the one before that 7... typed)
At the very least I could copy and paste most of what I post on my Deviant Art Journal ( silriel.deviantart.com ) but... yeah, I'm lazy... well in some respects.

I've graduated from my community college that I've been attending the past 3 years, got my AA, and I'm done with school for now... I thought I'd have more time when I was done with school. I was wrong. We found out the day before my last final that my oldest sister has breast cancer, so since I am the most mobile of my family members, now that I'm done with school for now and won't have a job by the end of this month, I will be going to help my sister with her three children, all of which are three years old and younger.
So I am currently packing. And packing. And.. packing... and trying to find time to say goodbye to friends (usually having them come over to help with the packing...) And working one day a week. etc.
Oh, and trying to exercise more which is very difficult when you have little to no excuse to get out of the house other than work and going to the library to use the internet and get books on CD and Tape so I stay sane while packing, and Church.

And I think that's going to be it for now. If I try and force myself to write more, this will never get posted...
