My internet is like a child. When it doesn't get what it wants, it throws a temper tantrum and throws me off line saying, "I don't want to play with you any more! I'm taking my toys and going home!" It's just that sometimes I can convince it to come back and play with me again...
Another way in which my internet is like a child, is the fact it sometimes doesn't want to connect me when I'm in the room. It will wait until I have gone to get something before it will sneak me back on. Sometimes, after it lets me back on, it likes to play hide and seek with the friends I am chatting with... usually making it so either I can't see what they're saying, or they can't see what I'm saying... tis rather humorous after words, but during is so annoying.
A third reason why my internet is like a child; sometimes when I choose a connection, it doesn't connect to that one, but when I choose a different one, all of the sudden the connection I chose before connects, as if it was jealous of the second connection.
Huzzah for libraries and other places where I can get free internet...
